The history of Soursop has been used in holistic medicine for centuries and is usually found in South America along with the Caribbean, often the basis for beverages, ice creams and other popular sweets. It’s seed is not to consume but only the white part of the fruit. It’s flavor is like a mix of strawberries, pineapple, and citrus fruit, which makes it a unique experience when eating this fruit each time and tastes great in many smoothies. It is a super fruit because it’s healing properties with it’s large amounts of high-antioxidants of vitamin C, B vitamins, calcium, phosphorous and even some iron among many nutrients included in this fruit. These vitamins and minerals are why soursop benefits are so beneficial for our health along side boosting our immunity and Anti-inflammatory Properties, minerals. Manganese, Vitamin Copper, Total dietary Fiber, Iron Potassium. Moreover many Amino acids. There are some real wonderful health benefits of the Guanabana fruit.

Mango Soursop Smoothie
Should you decide to add some milk, make sure to consume it immediately so a slightly bitter taste doesn’t develop. Add some honey, to taste! Enjoy!
- 1 cup guanabana, seeds removed
- 2-3 cups fresh and ripe Mango cubes
- 1 cup (or more) ice cubes
- 1/2 cup Almond Milk (optional, consume immediately if you add milk)
- Honey, to taste (optional)
Guanabana Pineapple Coconut Smoothie
- 1 cup frozen soursop pulp
- 1 cup fresh pineapple
- 2 cups fresh coconut
- 4 leaves of any leafy greens (such as kale, spinach, beets, and collards)
- 1 piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- Optional: water or coconut milk (to thin smoothie)
Put the soursop pulp, coconut, pineapple, leafy greens, and peeled ginger into a blender. Pulse until everything has blended together. If you’d like a thinner smoothie, feel free to add a bit of water or coconut milk, a bit at a time, until you reach your desired thickness. You can leave out the greens in this recipe for a sweeter taste, but they add powerful nutritional properties.
